Edayar Island

Edayar Island is located  near Thiruvallam  in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. This beautiful island is situated at about 7 kms from the city en route to the international beach resort of Kovalam, the Edayar island is inhabited by just under 500 people. Edayar is just a five minute walk from Thiruvallom near the Trivandrum-Kovalam bypass. Visitors can either ferry to the island or can opt to use the narrow iron bridge near Thiruvallom to walk into the island.
