Maranalloor

Maranalloor is a growing residential area and village situated in the Kattakkada taluka (formerly part of Neyyattinkara taluk) of Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. Located roughly 4 km south of Kattakkada town and about 8 km northeast of Neyyattinkara, it serves as a crucial connective transit point linked by major local routes heading toward Ooruttambalam, Kandala, and Balaramapuram.

Major local landmarks include the Maranalloor Mahadeva Temple, Kandala Co-operative Hospital, and various local religious and administrative centers like the Maranalloor Panchayat Office. Geographically, it sits about 20 km east-southeast of the state capital hub of Thampanoor (Thiruvananthapuram Central).
