Ancode

Ancode is a small settlement in Thiruvananthapuram District. It lies near Keezharoor and is around 25 km north-east of Thiruvananthapuram.
The village is famous for the Ancode Pandavanpara. Keezharoor Sree Rajarajeswari Temple, famous temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, is situated nearby.
The nearest railway station is at Neyyattinkara. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport.

Ancode Pandavanpara

Ancode Pandavanpara is an important site noted for cave paintings and carvings. It is situated at Ancode near Neyyattinkara.
There about 37 carved motifs on both the internal and external walls, including the carvings of human and animal figures as well as some abstract shapes. It is assumed to be of the late Neolithic period.

Chackai / Chakkai / Chakka





Chackai is a bustling residential area situated between Pettah and Shanghumughom, in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. It is around a kilometer south-west of Pettah and 8 km from East Fort. Sri Chamundi Temple, a 500-year-old shrine, at Karikkakam is a nearby attraction.
The place is along the road from the city center to Trivandrum International Airport. Pettah Railway Station is the closest railhead.
